It was previously announced that actress Tamannaah Bhatia will star in the lead role of the forthcoming Telugu supernatural thriller, Odela 2, which serves as a sequel to Odela Railway Station. The production team has unveiled the first-look poster featuring the actress in a mystical role. Recently, it has come to our attention that Prime Video has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for Odela 2, which is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 17.

Odela 2 The forthcoming sequel to the 2022 crime thriller Telugu film Odela Railway Station is set to premiere in theaters on April 17. In anticipation of its release, Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights for Odela 2, which features actress Tamannaah Bhatia in the leading role.

In Odela 2, Tamannaah portrays the character Shiva Shakthi, with a look designed to resemble an aghora. The film will focus on Odela Mallanna Swamy, who serves as a protector, safeguarding the village from malevolent spirits.

Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja, is produced by D Madhu under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks. In addition to Tamannaah, the cast includes Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy. The film's technical team features Soundar Rajan S as the cinematographer, while the music will be composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in Kantara. Rajeev Nair serves as the art director.

Odela Railway Station, directed by Ashok Teja, premiered in 2022 and is currently offered on OTTplay Premium at promotional rates. The film centers around a newly assigned trainee IPS officer tasked with capturing a serial killer in the village of Odela.

Notably, Tamannaah did not appear in this film. Odela 2 signifies her comeback to Telugu cinema following her role in the 2023 release Bhola Shankar, which starred Chiranjeevi.
