Dupahiya—March 7 (Prime Video)
Dhadakpur can be likened to the Belgium of Bihar—pristine, verdant, and splendid. This year, the town will celebrate its silver jubilee of crime-free existence. The residents will be rewarded with clean drinking water, a trophy, and, most significantly, a sense of pride. Roshni, the village's most enchanting young woman, is set to marry Kuber and depart from the Jha family in just eight days. Initially, her older brother Durlabh was to be wed, but upon learning that his younger sibling works in Mumbai, Roshni showed little interest in reconsidering her choice of groom. Like many of her peers, Roshni longs for a refined urban lifestyle. Her brother Bhugol also harbors dreams of traveling to Mumbai to become a Bollywood star. Roshni's father, Banwari, serves as a temporary primary school teacher, while the father of the groom is employed in the education sector. This marriage represents the fulfillment of his aspiration for a stable job. In essence, this single wedding encapsulates the ambitions of many. However, it is crucial for the groom to realize his dreams before their own can materialize. As a "wedding gift," he desires a two-wheeler, but not just any vehicle—he specifically wants a striking, high-end red motorcycle. The purchase also includes a year's supply of fuel. Although no family in Dhadakpur has ever offered such an extravagant dowry, the Jha family remains resolute. The motorcycle arrives during the day, but disaster strikes at night when it is stolen. The circumstances surrounding the theft raise numerous questions: How did it happen? When? Who is responsible? Dhadakpur is indeed a crime-free zone! Amavas, Roshni's former boyfriend, emerges as the prime suspect. Years ago, his repeated thefts led to his banishment from Dhadakpur. The village head, Pushpalata Yadav, had anticipated expelling Amavas, yet he has now become their only hope. He may be able to find a second-hand motorcycle. Bhugol and Amavas are tasked with retrieving the bike. Once childhood friends, they have now become rivals. The central theme of the season revolves around how these two young men uphold the honor of their village and ensure that the wedding proceeds as planned.
Nadaaniyan - March 7 (Netflix)
A seemingly harmless arrangement swiftly evolves into an unforeseen predicament for both individuals involved. Pia Jai Singh (Khushi Kapoor) and Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan), hailing from contrasting backgrounds, are convinced they have everything under control—until a whirlwind of emotions disrupts their equilibrium. The narrative centers on Pia, a glamorous figure from South Delhi intent on crafting her ideal love story, and Arjun, a diligent middle-class student with aspirations of leading the debate team. When Pia enlists Arjun in a transactional relationship—presenting him as her boyfriend to fabricate the perfect romantic image—their lives intersect. The intention is to leave those around them in a state of ambiguity and devoid of commitments. However, as authentic emotions begin to emerge, misunderstandings ensue, prompting the couple to reevaluate the practicality of orchestrating love.
The Waking Of A Nation - March 7 (Sony LIV [OTTplay Premium])
Set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, The Waking of a Nation follows Kantilal Sahni, a lawyer portrayed by Taaruk Raina, as he becomes ensnared in a web of colonial deceit. Kantilal confronts prejudice, historical erasure, and the quest for truth while the Hunter Commission distorts history to favor the ruling empire. United by an unbreakable childhood bond, Kantilal and his friends—Sahil Mehta as Ali Allahbaksh, Bhawsheel Singh as Hari Singh Aulakh, and Nikita Dutta as Poonam, Hari's spouse—navigate a conspiracy that alters their destinies despite their differing beliefs. Will they unveil the concealed truths, or will they fall victim to the facade of justice in society?
Thugesh vs. The World - March 7 (JioHotstar)
Thugesh vs The World, featuring Mahesh Keshwala, also known as Thugesh, is set to captivate audiences with its delightful mix of humor and mischief.
