A previous announcement indicated that a romantic drama starring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, titled Kadhalikka Neramillai, was in production. On Wednesday, the producers revealed the film's release date, confirming that it will premiere in theatres on January 14, coinciding with the Pongal festival.

Kadhalikka Neramillai release date out

Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi has been delayed from its scheduled Pongal release, prompting the producers of other Tamil films to seize the opportunity to take advantage of the festive period.

The most recent addition to the Pongal lineup is Kadhalikka Neramillai, featuring Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen in the principal roles. This film is scheduled to premiere in theatres on January 14, coinciding with the Pongal festivities. It is directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, who is known for her previous work on Vanakkam Chennai.

Kadhalikka Neramillai represents the inaugural collaboration between Jayam Ravi and Nithya Menen, as well as their first project with the director. Although details regarding the film's plot remain limited, it is anticipated to be a sophisticated love story. The cast will also include Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Lal, John Kokken, TJ Bhanu, Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, and Vinodhini, among others. This forthcoming film is produced by Red Giant Movies and features music composed by AR Rahman. The songs released thus far have received a positive response from online audiences.

The cinematography of the film is handled by Gavemic Ary, while Lawrence Kishore oversees the editing process. The initial single from Kaadhalikka Neramillai features vocals by actor-musician Shruti Haasan, with lyrics composed by Snehan. The production of Kadhalikka Neramillai is managed by Red Giant Movies.

Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi's most recent project was the ZEE5 web series titled Paper Rocket, which can be streamed on the ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium platforms. The series includes performances by Kalidas Jayaram, Tanya Ravichandran, among others.
