Namit Malhotra’s decade-long mission to transform the epic

It was shared on social media. As their teams labour ceaselessly towards a singular goal—to offer the world the most genuine, sacred, and aesthetically breathtaking rendition of our history, truth, and culture—Ramayana—he is overjoyed to witness its exquisite development today.

They bring the greatest epic to life with honour and pride, and they want to share their joy with the audience. The first part will release in 2026 and the second in 2027 during Diwali.

Production schedule and timeline for Ramayana films

Earlier, a source had revealed to Pinkvilla that reports indicate that Tiwari and his crew are now filming "Ramayana" as a two-part epic also starring Sunny Deol. The producers have chosen a two-part technique to convey the story because of the film's scope and size. According to a source, 'Ramayana' will shoot concurrently, unlike most in the industry who wait for the first part's results before filming the second!

The insider went on to say that production on "Ramayana Part Two" will begin well in advance of the premiere of "Ramayana Part One." The crew has planned a 350-day production calendar for the two 'Ramayana' films. This timeline incorporates both solo and combined scenes with the extended star cast.

Mark the dates of Diwali 2026 and 2027 in your calendars, as the two halves of India's most popular film, Ramayana, will set out on a mission to captivate viewers worldwide.
