Vertical has just unveiled the trailer for I Don’t Understand You, and it’s radiating some serious “romantic comedy gone awry in the Italian countryside” vibes — in the most delightfully awkward way possible. Directed and penned by Brian Crano and David Joseph Craig, this comedy of errors features Nick Kroll and Andrew Rannells as an American couple whose pre-baby trip to Italy spirals into a pasta-fueled frenzy.

What starts as a picture-perfect getaway — complete with candlelit dinners, picturesque drives, and espresso-fueled strolls — quickly takes a turn when their rental car ends up in a ditch (hello, heavy rain and no cell service). Stranded in the Italian countryside with barely any language skills, these soon-to-be dads must tackle not just their surroundings but also the underlying issues in their relationship. Spoiler alert: Google Translate isn’t much help when your emotional baggage outweighs your luggage.

Joining the cast are Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Spector, Nunzia Schiano, Paolo Romano, and Eleonora Romandini, who bring local charm and comedic chaos to the mix.
