The much-awaited third season of The Wheel of Time, the American fantasy series inspired by the novels of Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson, is now streaming on Prime Video. It officially kicked off on March 13.

Since it first launched in November 2021, The Wheel of Time has received acclaim from critics for its engaging story and impressive world-building. After Season 2 debuted in September 2022, the show was quickly renewed for a third season, keeping the excitement going.

Season 3 Episode Lineup

The first three episodes of Season 3 dropped on March 13, and new episodes will come out every Thursday from now on. Check out the complete episode schedule:

Episode 1, "Chasing the Shadow" – Released on March 13 (Available now)

Episode 2, titled "A Question of Crimson," is available now as of March 13

Episode 3, titled "Seeds of Shadow," is available now as of March 13

Episode 4, "The Road to the Spear" – March 20

Episode 5, titled "Tel’aran’rhiod," is set to air on March 27

Episode 6 – Released on April 3

Episode 7 – Released on April 10

Episode 8 – Released on April 17

Storyline

At the conclusion of Season 2, Rand al'Thor was recognized as the Dragon Reborn following his triumph over Ishamael. In Season 3, he encounters fresh obstacles as he struggles with his sense of self and the heavy burden of his position in the ongoing battle between Light and Dark.

The show centers around Moiraine Damodred, played by Rosamund Pike, a formidable Aes Sedai who recruits five young individuals, convinced that one of them is the reincarnation of the Dragon—a mighty sorcerer foretold to either rescue or doom the world.

Season 3 Cast

The main cast from the first two seasons is back for Season 3. Daniel Henney returns as Moiraine’s Warder, al'Lan Mandragoran, and Josha Stradowski is back as Rand al'Thor, the young man thought to be the Dragon Reborn.

This season also welcomes some new talent, including Shohreh Aghdashloo, who plays Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan, a formidable Aes Sedai with ties to Moiraine. Other newcomers are Isabella Bucceri as Faile Bashere, Nukâka Coster-Waldau as Bair, Salóme Gunnarsdóttir as Melaine, Björn Landberg as Rhuarc, Synnøve Macody Lund as Melindhra, and Ayoola Smart as Aviendha.

As the struggle between Light and Dark rages on, The Wheel of Time is set to deliver even more epic fantasy and exciting drama in its third season.
