Following the 'Adich Keri Vaa' craze started by Riyaz Khan, Suresh Krishna is currently being brought out by social media users. The term "Convincing Star of Mollywood" is being used to describe him. With this hashtag, internet users have recently brought back to life memes of the actor from a number of Malayalam blockbusters, thrusting him back into the public.

Why is Suresh Krishna called 'Convincing Star'?

For those unfamiliar of the trend, Suresh Krishna was recently dubbed the "Convincing Star" since a recurring theme in many of his previous appearances was his characters persuading other people in the film, frequently putting the latter in more serious danger. The actor typically plays antagonistic parts, seeking to deceive the main character or supporting cast into doing something against their better judgement. 

His portrayal of George Kutty in the Mohanlal and Dileep-starrer, Christian Brothers, kickstarted the trend on various social media platforms. After killing someone in the film, his character tells Christy, played by Mohanlal, to hold the pistol and call the police, further promising to return with his lawyer. But he leaves the crime scene, and Christy is taken into custody by the authorities. 

Later on, this crucial part in the film was targeted by various social media users, which is how the term "Convincing Star" originated. People have additionally started sharing scenes featuring similar roles that Suresh has portrayed in films like Karyasthan, Thanthoni and Chess.

Suresh Krishna joined the 'Convincing Star' trend

In keeping with the trend, Suresh Krishna posted a photo of himself as George Kutty from Christian Brothers on Instagram with the humorous remark, "You like and smile. I will be returning soon, in the meantime," the meme's original source which is a dialogue from Christian Brothers. 

Additionally, actor Siju Sunny posted a humorous video of himself and Suresh Krishna from the set of the upcoming Malayalam movie Maranamass, which stars Basil Joseph. The caption read, "He is totally convinced and confused."
