The narrative centers around a mysterious jewel thief who is recruited by a notorious crime lord to steal the African Red Sun, the world's most sought-after diamond, amidst a meticulously planned heist. However, betrayal, unexpected alliances, and escalating danger turn the operation into a thrilling adventure.

No connection to Dev Anand's classic

Jewel Thief is the name of a 1967 film featuring Dev Anand; however, the two productions are entirely distinct. A source from the production team previously informed Pinkvilla that Siddharth Anand had registered this title under his production company, believing it to be a perfect fit for the narrative. This new story combines exhilarating action with a tightly woven, suspenseful plot.

In addition to the two male leads, Nikita Dutta and Kunal Kapoor play significant roles in the film. Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Anand have collaborated in the past on romantic comedies such as Salaam Namaste and Ta Ra Rum Pum, but this marks their first partnership on a project directed by Robbie Grewal.
