Kuldeep Cariappa, a filmmaker involved in the anthology BTS, has made his feature film debut with Nodidavaru Enantare. This film stars Naveen Shankar in the lead role and explores the protagonist's existential crisis. Premiering in theaters on January 31, 2025, it received favorable reviews despite its slow-paced narrative. Notably, it is one of the few Kannada films to transition to OTT platforms, considering that nearly 60 films were released in theaters during the first three months of the year.

Nodidavaru Enantare out on Amazon Prime Video

Recently, it was announced that Nodidavaru Enantare, similar to many Kannada films that secure OTT agreements (pay-per-view), would be available on Amazon Prime Video following its theatrical release. Although a specific streaming date was not provided at that time, the team had already uploaded the film to the platform and was waiting for confirmation on its release. On March 20, it was disclosed that the film would start streaming on March 21, and it is now accessible.

Featuring Naveen Shankar, known for his role in Gultoo, in the lead role, Nodidavaru Enantare delves into the journey of his character, Siddarth, as he seeks self-discovery. Raised by his father, who remained single after his mother left them, Siddarth harbors deep resentment towards her, a sentiment exacerbated by years of negative comments from neighbors about her.

He yearns to encounter her once more to understand the reasons behind her departure. As his romantic life and career unravel, he embarks on a quest to seek answers to his lingering questions. Throughout this journey, he meets Nadia (Apoorva Bharadwaj), whose presence significantly transforms Siddharth’s life.

During the film's production, Kuldeep encouraged Naveen to lose weight, which the actor accomplished, resulting in a notably emaciated appearance for a specific scene. However, the strict diet Naveen followed led to a health scare, culminating in a minor heart attack.
