Dasara was a smash hit at the box office and gave Nani a new lease of life in his career. The action drama was also Nani's first Rs 100 crore film at the box office and had Keerthy Suresh as the female lead. Srikanth Odela, a debut director, helmed this film that was set in the coal mines of Telangana.

Nani's Dasara 2 update

Well, for the last two days, there have been speculations that Nani is all set to start the sequel of the film soon. This made Nani's fans super happy but we, at OTTplay, have come to know that this news is fake and no such project is being readied.

Director Srikanth Odela is busy with yet another film of his which he will announce soon. The young director is busy with the pre-production of his film and sources close to him say that though he has a film with Nani, it is not the sequel to Dasara.

A lot of money was spent on Dasara and the film had a proper ending. So, there is no question of a sequel as of now, confirms the source. But he also adds that Nani and Srikanth have an idea of the sequel but it is only in the discussion stage and might never be made as well.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram latest update

On the other hand, Nani is busy with multiple films and is shooting for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram which is directed by Vivek Athreya. The action drama is a superhero film and Priya Bhavani Shankar is the heroine. Nani will be seen as a man who has special powers only on a specific Saturday in this film.

Nani also has a few other projects lined up in his kitty. He is also in plans to revive HIT 3 which hit a roadblock a few days ago. For now, there is no Dasara 2 and we need to see what Srikanth Odela will come up with for his second film in Tollywood.
