Telugu actor Nani, recognized for his diverse performances, was last featured in Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and is now preparing for the upcoming release of HIT: The Third Case, scheduled for May 1. Nani discusses the depiction of police violence in films ahead of HIT 3 release
With only a month remaining until the launch of the third installment in the HIT series, actor Nani has commenced promotional activities for the film. He recently engaged in a conversation with a YouTube channel, where he shared insights about his work, including a discussion on the representation of custodial violence.

In HIT 3, Nani portrays Arjun Sarkar, a character notorious for his brutality towards targets. When questioned about police violence and the similarities to his previous film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which featured a violent antagonist cop, he addressed the issue of justifying police brutality. Nani stated, “It is never justifiable, regardless of the circumstances. While we may depict a protagonist in a film, it does not make such actions acceptable. In Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, for instance, Daya's character, played by SJ Suryah, is driven by greed. In HIT 3, Arjun Sarkar exhibits violence with a clear purpose. As he pursues his objectives, there may be collateral damage, but it is deemed acceptable for a greater cause.”
Nani further emphasises that such actions cannot be justified, noting that there are moments when the character reflects on his decisions.
When is HIT 3 releasing?
Scheduled for release on May 1, the film is both written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. This movie marks the third installment in the HIT franchise, following the previous two films that featured Adivi Sesh and Vishwak Sen in leading roles.
HIT 3 also includes performances by Srinidhi Shetty, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Maganti Srinath.
