In a recent interview, Nani reflected on his most memorable experience during the rerelease of Jersey," the highly regarded sports drama from 2019. He shared that five years after its initial release, "Jersey" returned to theaters, and he attended a screening in Hyderabad, which accommodated approximately 700-800 viewers.

"My son and I were watching it together, and it was his first time seeing 'Jersey.' He sat beside me, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement, with plenty of cheering and applause. Just before the intermission, Ronit, who portrayed my character's son, performed a gesture of bowing in respect, prompting the entire audience to rise and mimic the gesture in front of us, especially in front of my son. That moment was truly special for me, and my son was puzzled by the audience's reaction. I will always remember that expression on his face; it made everything worthwhile," Nani reminisced about the experience.
