The makers of upcoming Malayalam web series, Nagendran's Honeymoons, have dropped a major update about its digital premier. The comedy drama will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from July 19. Suraj Venjaramoodu is playing the lead role in this project, which is directed by Kasaba-fame Nithin Renji Panicker. Nagendran’s Honeymoon also features Grace Antony, Kani Kusruthi, Shwetha Menon, Alphy Panjikaran and Niranjana Anoop in pivotal roles.

Nagendran’s Honeymoons about marriage fraud

The web series' trailer features a young jobless man named Nagendran getting married to five different women while using different aliases. It is unclear why he took such a step. Overall, it seems to suggest that the show continues with the hilarious aftermath of these marriages. After its digital release, watch the web series to see if Nagendran would select one to be his life partner.

Based on the show's tagline and first look poster, Suraj's portrayal of Nagendran and his five wives is most likely the subject of the web series. "One life, five wives," is the tagline. The show's poster suggested that it would be a hilarious comedy about marriages with multiple partners. The original title of this show, Madhuvidhu, which means honeymoon, was intended to be changed to Nagendran's Honeymoons in order to make it more palatable to a wider audience.

Malayalam web series on Disney+ Hotstar

Recently, Disney+ Hotstar has been supporting an extensive amount of original content, particularly from Malayalam. The popular OTT platform, who started with the Aju Varghese-led Malayalam web series Kerala Crime Files last year, then moved on to the Nitya Menen-starrer Master Peace. Perilloor Premier League, starring Sunny Wayn and Nikhila Vimal, followed.

Disney+ Hotstar's upcoming Malayalam series includes Pharma, directed by PR Arun, starring Nivin Pauly, Sruthi Ramachandran, Veena Nandakumar, Narain and Rajat Kapoor.
