Jr NTR is finally set to team up with Prashanth Neel, the hitmaker who directed the mega-blockbuster franchise KGF and Salaar, for his 31st film. The highly anticipated project, which was initially delayed due to the actor-director duo’s other commitments, is finally launched officially. The makers launched the project formally with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad, today (August 9, 2024). The action film, which is tentatively titled NTRNeel, has also got an official release date.

The 31st project of Jr NTR, directed by Prashanth Neel, had its official launch today at a grand pooja ceremony held at Hyderabad, today. The event was attended by both the Telugu superstar and popular filmmaker, along with their respective wives and kids. After the event, the makers of the project officially announced that the highly anticipated mass action film is tentatively titled NTRNeel, instead of NTR 31. The pictures and videos of the event are now going viral on the internet.
Later, the makers, Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts revealed the official first-look poster of the film with a caption that reads: “This time, the earth will tremble under his reign!” From the official poster, it is safe to assume that the Prashanth Neel directorial, which features Jr NTR in a never-seen-before avatar, is a period film set in the China, Bhutan, and West Bengal regions of 1969, which was famously called ‘The Golden Triangle’.

In their official social media post, NTR Arts and Mythri Movie Makers, the popular banners that are producing Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel’s ambitious film, confirmed that the project is slated to be released on January 9, 2026. “The moment we all have been waiting for is here. #NTRNeel begins with an auspicious Pooja Ceremony. The DUO is all set to create a MONSTROUS HAVOC at the BOX OFFICE. See you all on his land from January 9, 2024,” reads the social media post of the banner.
