Prithviraj Sukumaran has recently revealed the highly awaited first-look poster of the iconic Mohanlal for the forthcoming action thriller L2: Empuraan also referred to as L2E. The actor-director presented the poster, showcasing Mohanlal in the intriguing role of Khureshi Ab'raam/Stephen Nedumpally, accompanied by an engaging caption: “#L2E #EMPURAAN 33 Days to touch down!”

Scheduled for a grand multi-lingual release in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada on March 27, the film is expected to deliver an exhilarating experience. L2: Empuraan serves as the second part of a planned trilogy, following the success of the 2019 hit Lucifer. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and penned by Murali Gopy, the film is produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas.

In L2: Empuraan, Mohanlal returns to portray the formidable character Khureshi Ab'raam/Stephen Nedumpally, while Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Manju Warrier reprise their roles from the original film. The cast also features Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, Fazil, and Sachin Khedekar, all of whom are poised to make significant contributions to this thrilling sequel.
