The premiere of My Happy Marriage Season 2 is imminent. More than a year has passed since the conclusion of the first season, which aired 12 episodes from July to September 2024, and fresh beginnings are on the horizon. Director Takehiro Kubota will once again take on the significant task of adapting Akumi Agitogi's romance fantasy light novel series (Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon / Watakon) at Kinema Citrus studio.

This January, new cast members will join the anime's main voice ensemble, including Ryotaro Okiayu (known for his role as Kokushibo in Demon Slayer) as Tadakiyo Kudo, Kikuko Inoue (who voices Acrobatic Silky in Dan Da Dan) as Fuyu Kudo, and Yuuya Uchida (Hendrickson from The Seven Deadly Sins) as Naoshi Usui. They will join the four principal voice actors: Reia Ueda (Miyo Saimori), Kaito Ishikawa (Kiyoka Kudo), Hiro Shimono (Yoshito Godo), and Haruka Tomatsu (Kaoruko Jinnouchi).

In anticipation of the first episode of My Happy Marriage Season 2, official platforms related to the anime have released a creditless version of the new season's theme song. Starting Monday, “Shiawase no Yakusoku” by Riria will serve as the new opening theme.

Netflix summarizes the series as follows: “Miyo's abusive family considers her worthless – but alongside her powerful fiancé, her true identity and latent abilities gradually begin to emerge.”

The premiere of the first episode of Season 2 of My Happy Marriage is scheduled for Monday, January 6, 2025. As stated on the official website for the anime adaptation, new episodes will be released weekly every Monday at 10:30 PM JST, subject to any future changes.

Additionally, the same episode will be available on AT-X the following day, Tuesday, at 21:30 JST.
