Murshid New Promo
There are two clips in the new promo shared by the makers today. In the first clip, Kay Kay Menon's don, Murshid, can be seen at a shady place where he is trying to convince a man to kill someone so he can rule and make his name in the underworld like him. The second clip shows his on-screen son, Tanuj Virvani, who will be seen playing a dedicated cop. As he is on duty and in his uniform, he is seen asking a man to apologise to a child for the mistakes he has made and to never repeat them.
Sharing the promo, the official social media account of ZEE5 wrote in the caption: "Dhamaaka hoga, jab aayegi yeh baap-bete ki fierce jodi aamne-saamne! #Murshid premieres 30th August, only on #ZEE5"

Recently, in an interview with Zoom, Tanuj Virvani spilled some beans about his character in the show and mentioned how it is different from the roles he had played before. he said, "The background he comes from, the emotional baggage he carries—it’s all very different from character to character. I’ve mostly played very urban, South Mumbai-centric characters. This character was different in many ways. That’s why it’s so important to surrender to your director."
Directed by Shravan Tiwari, the show stars Kay Kay Menon, Tanuj Virwani, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Shringarpure, and Anang Desai. Murshid is all set to release on August 30 on ZEE5. You can also watch the show on OTTplay Premium with a subscription.
