Kay Kay Menon is gearing up for his upcoming gangster drama titled Murshid. The trailer of the film already garnered a lot of attention and raised anticipation. The countdown for the series has begun and ahead of the release, another new poster was dropped by the makers and this time it is Rajesh Shringarpure who is playing the role of a politician.

The buzz for Kay Kay Menon's Murshid is in full swing. Amid this, the makers shared a new poster featuring Rajesh Shringarpure who will be seen playing the role of politician Jayendra. The poster has a text written on it, "Siyasi Gaddi Ka Bhooka Neta."
Sharing the poster, ZEE5 captioned it, "Power ke liye naa lade, woh Politician kaisa? premieres 30th August, only on #ZEE5 #MurshidOnZEE5"

In the trailer, Kay Kay Menon aka 'Bombay ka sultan' returns with his force showcasing his action skills as he uses a gun to take revenge. He can be heard saying, "Farid, forget Junaid, otherwise I will destroy you."
Sharing the trailer, the makers captioned it, "Dushmanon ke liye bura waqt bankar, 20 saal baad, Bambai ka raja - Murshid Pathan apni takht par laut raha hai!"
About Murshid
Set in Mumbai's underworld, a retired don Murshid Pathan (Kay Kay Menon) is forcibly drawn into the gangster life he thought he had left behind. He takes this step when he involves the son of his former rival Farid, played by Zakir Hussain, in a dangerous plan.
Apart from them, Tanuj Virwani will be seen playing a tough cop in the series. The series also stars Vedika Bhandari, Anang Desai, Zakir Hussain, and others in pivotal roles. Murshid will start streaming on ZEE5 on August 30, 2024. You can also watch it with your OTTplay Premium.
The series is produced by Sandip Patel and Sachin Bansal under the banner of Fathom Pictures and Pramukh Film Production House and is written by Shravan Tiwari while the music is composed by Kunal Karan.
