Muhammad Mustafa's Mura, which premiered in theatres in November 2024, is poised to make its debut on OTT platforms. The film features prominent performances by Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mala Parvathy in key roles and will be accessible for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting December 25, 2024.

Mura on Prime Video

Mura, an action thriller, captivated audiences with its engaging storyline and strong performances, successfully concluding a 50-day theatrical run, even with a cast featuring numerous newcomers. The film is now poised for its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video, scheduled for release on Christmas. This Malayalam film will be accessible in four languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, along with English subtitles on the platform.

Mura cast and plot

In addition to the leading actors Hridhu Haroon, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mala Parvathy, the film also introduced several newcomers, such as Jobin Das, Anujit Kannan, Yedu Krishna, and Vigneshwar Suresh. Kani Kusruthi, who gained international recognition for her role in the Cannes-winning film All We Imagine as Light, is also included in the cast, alongside Kannan Nair, Krish Hassan, and Sibi Joseph.

Hridhu Haroon made his debut in Malayalam cinema with the film Mura, where his performance as Ananthu received acclaim from both critics and audiences.

Set in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, the film centres on four unemployed young men whose lives take a drastic turn when they become involved in a perilous undertaking at the request of Ani, portrayed by Suraj Venjaramoodu.

Directed by Muhammad Mustafa, renowned for his work on Kappela featuring Anna Ben, the film's screenplay is crafted by Suresh Babu. The cinematography is managed by Fazil Nasser, with editing by Chaman Chacko, and the musical score is composed by Christy Joby.

For enthusiasts of action-oriented cinema, Mura is set to premiere on Prime Video this Christmas.

Additionally, Suraj Venjaramoodu's film Extra Decent is scheduled for release in theatres on December 20, 2024, featuring notable performances by Grace Antony, Shyam Mohan, Sudheer Karamanna, and Vinaya Prasad.
