Mufasa: The Lion King, Barry Jenkins' animated adventure is getting a Bollywood version this December. The film will have the voices of Shah Rukh Khan and his sons, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan, in the Hindi dubbed version. Now, after much anticipation, the makers have unveiled the much-awaited poster of the film featuring none other than the King - Shah Rukh Khan.

Today, on December 3, the makers of the film shared a new poster featuring Shah Rukh Khan as Mufasa: The Lion King. In a white T-shirt and brown jacket, the actor look handsome as always. The background of the poster features the King of the Jungle - Mufasa. Sharing the poster, the makers captioned the post: "There can only be ONE Lion King, and it is HIM! Watch Mufasa The Lion King in cinemas from 20th December"

In another post, the makers shared a video where Shah Rukh Khan is seen talking about his personal connection with Mufasa. He also reminisces about his childhood and an endearing reveal as to how he feels his own mane resembles that of the majestic king of the Pride Lands.

For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan lends his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa. The other voices include Makarand Deshpande as Rafiki, Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa, Shreyas Talpade as Timon, and Meiyang Chang as Taka. The film is a prequel to Disney's 2019 animated adventure film The Lion King. The film will explore the origins of Simba's father Mufasa. Shah Rukh Khan and his elder son Aryan also lent their voices to the Hindi dubbed version of that film.
