Samir Kochhar, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Nidhi Singh are poised to appear in an eccentric narrative of romance and theft in JioCinema's forthcoming series, Moonwalk. The storyline centres on two criminals attempting to pilfer one of the most valuable items in order to impress their ideal partner, Chandni. In anticipation of the premiere, the creators have unveiled new posters to introduce the characters.

On December 16, JioCinema utilized its Instagram platform to unveil the principal characters of the series Moonwalk. The promotional poster showcases Tarik Pandey, portrayed by Anshumaan Pushkar, who is recognized as Rampur's most skilled thief. His notable line states, "Stealing is an art and I am the artist."
In contrast, Maddy, played by Samir Kochhar, is depicted as a con artist from Delhi. He asserts, "I am a con artist and films are made on me." Additionally, another key character, Chandni, portrayed by Nidhi Singh, serves as the romantic interest of both Maddy and Tarik. She remarks, "You guys fell for one simple Rampur girl while trying to win the world."

Moonwalk cast talk about their characters
In a recent statement, Samir Kochhar discussed his role as Maddy, describing the character as a legendary figure in the realm of heists, known for executing seemingly impossible tasks with unparalleled skill and charm. He emphasized that Maddy consistently remains one step ahead, possessing a darker side that contrasts with her seemingly innocent appearance.
"This character introduces unexpected twists as the narrative progresses, which enhances its intrigue. I am also eager to take on a role that diverges from my previous performances. Moonwalk promises to be thrilling and unpredictable, offering everything that audiences anticipate—full drama and entertainment," he remarked.
In a separate comment, Anshumaan, who portrays Tarik, described his experience on Moonwalk as an 'exhilarating journey,' both in his acting career and as part of such an engaging project. He expressed his appreciation for the chance to work alongside remarkable talents like Sheeba Chadha and Samir Kochhar, who contribute significant depth to their performances. He noted, "This was also one of my initial projects, making it particularly special and memorable for me."
Conversely, Nidhi conveyed her enjoyment in exploring the chemistry between Chandni, Anshumaan, and Samir, highlighting how their relationship develops in a heartfelt and meaningful manner, thereby enriching the narrative.
Moonwalk is helmed by director Ajay Bhuyan and produced by Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios and Ajay G Rai from Jar Pictures. The film is set to premiere on JioCinema on December 20.
