In a recent interview, the young producer disclosed that Balakrishna expressed a desire for his son to collaborate with Venky Atluri. Consequently, Balakrishna attended a special screening of Lucky Baskhar. Naga Vamsi stated that Balayya made the decision to engage Venky Atluri for the project immediately after the conclusion of the film's first half.

The rationale for this decision stems from the fact that Mokshagnya's inaugural film is an action-oriented drama. Balakrishna desires for his son to subsequently engage in a straightforward, relatable project that resonates profoundly with viewers. Venky Atluri, recognized for his ability to depict protagonists in innovative and charming manners, was deemed the ideal candidate to introduce Mokshagnya in a different light. It is anticipated that the film will be produced on a limited budget and will embrace a rather experimental approach.
