Mohanlal is totally busy in his acting career, and has a promising line-up of exciting projects. The superstar is now busy with the final stage post-production works of his directorial debut Barroz. Meanwhile, the legendary actor is also planning to join the final schedule filming of his highly anticipated projects - Prithviraj Sukumaran’s L2 Empuraan and Tharun Moorthy’s L360. As per the recently updates, Mohanlal is planning to kickstart Sathyan Anthikad directorial Hridaya Poorvam, after wrapping up both films.
Mohanlal’s Hridaya Poorvam: Major updates out
As reported earlier, Mohanlal is reuniting with senior filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad after a very long gap, for his upcoming project. The movie, which is touted to be a fun-filled family entertainer, has been titled Hridaya Poorvam. According to the latest updates, the shooting of the much-awaited project is expected to begin immediately after the leading man wraps up the shooting of L2 Empuraan and L360. In that case, Hridaya Poorvam might start rolling in November 2024.
According to the recent updates, the first schedule of the upcoming Sathyan Anthikad directorial will start rolling in Pune, Maharashtra, in November 2024. The grapevine suggests that Pune is the main location of Hridaya Poorvam, which features Mohanlal in the role of a simple family man. After wrapping up the Pune schedule, the senior filmmaker and his team will move back to Kochi, Kerala, for the second schedule of the film. More updates on the project is expected to be out soon.
L2 Empuraan and L360
The Gujarat schedule of L2 Empuraan, which marks Mohanlal’s third collaboration with Prithviraj Sukumaran, is nearing its final stages. The actor-director duo is reportedly planning to kickstart the Abu Dhabi schedule of the film, soon after they wrap up the Gujarat schedule The pending portions of the movie will be filmed at Mumbai and Hyderabad, in brief schedules.
L360, on the other hand, is expected to be wrapped up in October 2024, with its third and final schedule. Director Tharun Moorthy and his team are currently busy with the set works for the final schedule filming, in Kerala. Mohanlal is expected to resume the shooting of the untitled film, by mid-October. If things proceed at the same rate, the family drama will hit the theatres in January 2025, as Mohanlal’s first release of the year.
