After its successful first season, the makers of Mithya are back with Season 2, this time, it is titled ‘Mithya – The Darker Chapter'. Directed by Kapil Sharma and produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Rose Audio Visual Production, the Psychological thriller probes into the complex and volatile relationship between two half-sisters, Juhi (played by Huma Qureshi) and Rhea (played by Avantika Dassani), and their battle for revenge and retribution.

With Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani coming back in the lead roles, the show also has a special add-on this time with Naveen Kasturia. The trailer for the much-awaited second season is now out and it promises an intense drama and high stakes. The drama will once again revolve around Juhi and Rhea. When Juhi's success after her book 'Dhundh' just starts to ignite, the plagiarism accusations move her world upside down. This nasty step is taken by Naveen Kasturia's Amit Chaudhary, a new entry as the mysterious writer in the show.
Rhea aka Avantika Dassani is still busy scheming and plotting to win her father's love but will she succeed in her quest for love and acceptance or will this turn into a battle of revenge? The trailer for the second part of the show promises to take us to the family drama with more secrets, suspense, and dirty games between family members.
