In Season 3, his fate was one of the most anticipated and shocking moments as the season opened. The Original Choice for Munna Bhaiya

The actor first approached to play Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur was actually Amit Sial, who plays Inspector Ram Sharan Maurya in the show. In an interview with Filmygyan, Amit revealed, “Munna's character in Mirzapur was offered to me, but obviously, I wouldn’t have been convincing as Pankaj Tripathi’s son. But I am very happy with the role I played. I think that’s a classic character.”

Amit went on to express his admiration for Divyenndu’s portrayal of Munna Bhaiya, adding, “He is a very sweet friend and portrayed the character exceptionally well.” Like we said, some roles are just meant for certain actors.
