Nenekkadunna is the first Telugu film for Mimoh Chakraborty, who happens to be the son of the iconic Mithun Chakraborty. This social drama is scheduled to release on February 28, 2025, and the trailer has really captured everyone's attention.

Mimoh Chakraborty shares his thoughts on his first movie

Mimoh shared with us that he actually reached out to join the film initially. "By the time I was on board, the female lead, Sasha Chettri, was already set. A friend of mine was connected with the team, and when they were looking for someone for my role, he suggested me. Then, director Madhav Kodada came to Mumbai, told me the story, and I immediately agreed," Mimoh explains.

He also talked about his father's reaction when he told him he was doing a Telugu film. "My dad advised me to approach any work with complete honesty. He emphasized that it’s important to be truthful not just as an actor but in life. If I ever feel uneasy about something, I shouldn’t go through with it. He’s really excited about my debut in Telugu cinema and is keeping a close eye on the release," Mimoh adds.

The star kid mentioned that he's really excited to be part of a Telugu film since Tollywood is thriving right now. He’s even open to taking on a negative role in a big hero movie down south. This project is being produced by Maruthi Shyam Prasad Reddy under KBR presentation.

Madhav Kodada is stepping in as the director for the first time. When asked about the film, Mimoh shared that Nenekkadunna focuses on female characters. "When I first heard the story, I realized it’s not just about women’s empowerment or female journalism. It’s more than a message-driven film. While it does have a message, it’s also a full-on popcorn entertainer with catchy songs, exciting action scenes, and engaging moments.
