After considerable deliberation, the creators of Metro... In Dino have officially revealed the film's revised release date. Directed by Anurag Basu, this romantic drama featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan was originally slated for a 2024 release. Recent reports indicated that the film's launch had been postponed due to Basu's new project with Kartik Aaryan. Following initial denials of these claims, the producers have now confirmed that Metro... In Dino will premiere in theaters on July 4, 2025.

Metro... In Dino new release date locked!

The new release date for Metro... In Dino has been officially announced. T-Series Films shared this update on Instagram, stating that the film will be available in cinemas on July 4, 2025. This romantic drama aims to explore themes of love, life, and the unexpected connections that shape individuals.

In their announcement, the creators expressed, "When love, fate, and city life intersect, magic is inevitable! Metro… इन दिनों presents heartfelt stories from the cities you cherish! Experience it on July 4th in theaters near you (sic)."

Previously, when rumors regarding the postponement of Metro... In Dino emerged, the filmmakers assured that the movie would still be released this year. In an interview with Zoom, director Anurag Basu discussed the project.

"It was a significant responsibility because I feared that the original Metro (Life In A Metro) would fade from public memory. I doubted people would recall it. However, as I began production, I noticed that expectations surged through social media. The anticipation is quite high. I hope to meet those expectations with this film, and we had a wonderful time during the shoot," he remarked.
