Mere Husband Ki Biwi barely earns Rs 5 crore

In the span of four days following its release, Mere Husband Ki Biwi managed to generate a mere Rs. 5 crore. On its opening Friday, it collected Rs. 1.5 crore, with a slight increase to Rs. 1.65 crore on the first Saturday. The film experienced its initial decline coinciding with the India vs Pakistan match on Sunday. By the third day, Mere Husband Ki Biwi had earned Rs. 1.11 crore, followed by an additional Rs. 51 lakh on the first Monday, according to Sacnilk. Consequently, the total Box Office collection stands at Rs. 4.82 crore net, which falls short of the Rs. 5 crore mark, indicating that Mere Husband Ki Biwi is significantly underperforming.

Chhaava effect?

One of the primary factors contributing to the failure of Mere Husband Ki Biwi is its timing of release. The film debuted alongside strong competitors such as Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava and Harshvardhan Rane's Sanam Teri Kasam, both of which have garnered significant acclaim. The narrative of Mere Husband Ki Biwi pales in comparison to the affection that audiences have shown for a film like Chhaava. This situation, coupled with the mixed reviews received by Arjun Kapoor's film, has severely impacted its performance.
