Mazaka, a Telugu romantic comedy film featuring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, is preparing for its premiere on OTT platforms. Viewers will be able to stream the film on ZEE5 starting March 28, and it will be accessible through an OTTplay Premium subscription at reduced rates.

It was previously announced that ZEE5 has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the 2025 Telugu film Mazaka. Following a month of its theatrical release, the producers and the platform have now confirmed that the film will be available for streaming on March 28. Viewers can watch Mazaka with an OTTplay Premium subscription.

Mazaka is helmed by director Trinadha Rao Nakkina, with the screenplay crafted by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. The film is produced by Anil Sunkara, Ramabrahmam Sunkara, Razesh Danda, and Umesh KR Bansal, under the banners of AK Entertainments, Hasya Movies, and Zee Studios. The leading roles are portrayed by Sundeep Kishan, Ritu Varma, Anshu, and Rao Ramesh.

This romantic comedy centers on a father who, in his quest for his son to find stability, decides to remarry. The plot thickens when both the father and son develop feelings for women from the same family, resulting in a series of humorous situations. The film features music composed by Leon James, with cinematography by Nizar Shafi and editing by Chota K Prasad.

Sundeep Kishan and Jason Sanjay’s film to be last of Lyca Productions?

Sundeep Kishan is set to feature in the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, the son of actor Vijay. This film is being produced by Lyca Productions. However, due to significant financial difficulties stemming from consecutive setbacks with projects like Lal Salaam, Indian 2, and Vettaiyan, there are widespread reports suggesting that Lyca Productions may soon cease operations. It is believed that the upcoming film featuring Jason Sanjay and Sundeep Kishan will be the last production from this banner. Details about the film remain scarce, although it has been confirmed that the music will be composed by S Thaman.
