Max, the Kannada film released in 2024 featuring Kichcha Sudeep in the lead role, is poised for its upcoming debut on OTT platforms. It has been previously reported that ZEE5 has acquired the streaming rights, with the film set to commence streaming on February 15. Viewers will also have the option to watch the film in Tamil and Telugu.

Max OTT release: Kichcha Sudeep’s film to be available in various languages

Kichcha Sudeep, the prominent Kannada actor, was last featured in the action thriller Max, which premiered in theaters in December 2025. Following a successful theatrical run of nearly two months, the film is now preparing for its OTT release. ZEE5 is scheduled to launch Max on February 15, and it will be accessible in additional languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can enjoy the film over the weekend.

Directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyaa, Max is co-produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu of V Creations and Sudeepa of Kichcha Creations. In addition to Kichcha Sudeep, the cast includes Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sunil, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, and Anirudh Bhat in significant roles. The film's music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath, while cinematography and editing are managed by Shekar Chandra and SR Ganesh Baabu, respectively.

Max enjoyed a successful run in theaters upon its release. The narrative unfolds over the course of a single day, focusing on events that transpire between 7 pm and 7 am, centering on an incident that compels the character Arjun Mahakshay, also known as Max, to respond with violence.

According to an Mobile Masala review, “Debutant director Vijay Kartikeyaa’s Max is a fast-paced thriller that is skillfully crafted and ideally suited for Kiccha Sudeep, who takes center stage in the film. There are numerous moments designed to engage the audience, yet they remain balanced and do not excessively cater to Sudeep’s star persona.”
