Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, the vigilante action film directed by Vivek Athreya, earned much love from the audiences and critics. Nani played the lead role in the film, which features actor-director SJ Suryah as the lead antagonist. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram revolves around the life of Surya aka Chinnu, a young man who opts for Saturdays to fight against injustice in society. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is set to have its OTT release on Netflix, on September 27, 2024.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT release: Where to watch in Tamil and Hindi?

The vigilante action film, which features Nani in the role of Surya aka Chinnu, is all set to have its OTT release, exactly a month after its theatrical release. The movie will have its OTT release at midnight, on Friday, September 27, 2024. Along with the original Telugu version, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram will be available on the popular platform for streaming in Tamil and Hindi languages. The movie is also expected to have its OTT release in other regional languages, including Malayalam and Kannada.

For the uninitiated, the Vivek Athreya directorial originally had a theatrical release in Tamil, under the title Surya’s Saturday. The Tamil version was released along with the original in theatres, but failed to create a stir among the regional audiences. The other dubbed versions in Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada also went largely unnoticed. Reportedly, the movie is expected to stream under the original title, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram in all languages, on Netflix.

All about Saripodhaa Sanivaaram

Nani appeared as Surya aka Chinnu, the protagonist who chose Saturday to turn vigilante and fight against social injustice. SJ Suryah played the lead antagonist, Dayanand, a corrupted police officer. Priyanka Mohan played Charulatha, a police constable and Surya’s lady love. Abhirami, Aditi Balan, Murali Sharma, P Sai Kumar, Ajay, Jhansi, Supreeth, Ajay Ghosh, and others essay the pivotal roles. Jakes Bejoy composed the songs and original score. Murali G handled the cinematography. Karthika Srinivas handled the editing.
