Dhruva Sarja’s next, Martin, is not only massive in terms of scale, but also with the release plans that the team has. Directed by AP Arjun and produced by Uday K Mehta, Martin has been in the making for a while, but if the trailer that was released moments ago is anything to go by, an action-packed visual spectacle is on the anvil. At a special ‘international’ press meet in Mumbai, the team launched the trailer in the presence of representatives of global media.

This is the first major promotional material from the team, ahead of the film’s October 11, 2024 theatrical release. The film has been written by Action King Arjun Sarja, with Dhruva playing an Indian soldier called Arjun. There has been speculation that Dhruva will be seen in a double role in the film, with one of them being Martin, but the actor has said that the central plot revolves around revealing the mystery behind the identity of Martin.

As was seen in the earlier teaser, the trailer too has high-octane action, with Dhruva hot in pursuit of the bad guys on bikes, snow-mobiles, cars, and even tankers. He does whatever it takes for his country and that, as the bad guys find out, is what makes him most dangerous. Dhruva is paired with Vaibhavi Shandilya, who was last seen in Gaalipata 2, in Martin, while social media star Anveshi Jain makes her Kannada cinema debut with the film.

During the launch of the first teaser of Martin, Anveshi had said that she plays a gangster chick, who is paired with Martin. Whether or not that is Dhruva will be revealed when the film opens in theatres during Dasara. Nikitin Dheer is the main antagonist of Martin. Ravi Basrur’s background score and Mani Sharma’s songs, as well as Satya Hegde’s camera work are major cornerstones of the film.
