Market Mahalakshmi is a low-budget film that hit screens on April 19, 2024. The makers did not promote the film much and not many knew that the film came out in the first place. The film had Paravateesam and Praneeka Anvika in lead roles and was out of theatres in just its first weekend.

Market Mahalakshmi OTT platform locked

Now, we have come to know that Aha has bagged the OTT rights to this film for a nominal price and will stream it in the last week of July 2024. Aha has been buying the rights to several low-budget films these days and every other Telugu film's OTT rights have gone to Aha in the last few months.

Market Mahalakshmi was the comeback film of Paravteesam after a long gap. He came into the limelight with a film produced by Dil Raju in the early 2000s. He was nowhere to be seen later, as he gave back-to-back flops as a hero. So, he took some time off and made his comeback with the film Market Mahalakshmi.

The film is based on the life of a software employee, played by Paravateesam. His father's only aim in life is to get Paravateesam married to a rich girl and earn a massive dowry. Things change upside down when Paravateesam falls in love with a poor vegetable seller, Market Mahalakshmi, played by Paraneeka.

Aha is yet to lock the release date and will be announcing it soon. Market Mahalakshmi is an outdated family drama that has nothing going its way. Only for the heroines' performances was the film in the news but the rest of the film was dull and outdated. We need to see how Market Mahalakshmi fares when it comes out on Aha.
