The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Marco, recently dropped a major update on its theatrical release. It has been reported that the film would be released around Christmas. Because of its intense action scenes, the movie has raised expectations among movie buffs. According to sources, the movie will debut on the big screen on December 20. The specific date hasn't been confirmed by the producers, yet.

Action movie aficionados and fans of Unni Mukundan were impressed by the unsettling persona he depicted in both posters. According to reports, Jagadish portrays the adversary. The late actor Thilakan's grandson, Abhimanyu Thilakan, is also making his acting debut in a negative character in this film. Anson Paul, Kabir Duhan Singh, Siddique, and Yukthi Tareja are among the film's supporting cast members.

The movie chronicles the tale of Marco Jr., a famed villain in Malayalam films. Marco Jr. plays the antagonist in Mikhael, a 2019 film directed by Haneef. This film is available to stream on Amazon Prime. In Mikhael, Unni played the endearing antagonist Marco Jr., who seeks retribution for the deaths of his brother and nephew. The young actor finally disclosed in an OTTplay interview that he and Marco will be starring in an action movie together, after a seven-year break from the genre. It is also regarded as the bloodiest film ever produced.
He went on to claim that the movie will be far more gruesome than audiences could have ever imagined and that he liked to think of it as a celebration of violence. The actor continued by saying that he had been looking forward to being in an incredible action movie for a very long time.
