1 month ago | 5 Views
Unni Mukundan's action thriller Marco was definitely the film everyone was looking forward to on OTT this year. Directed by Haneef Adeni, it was set to drop on Sony Liv this Valentine’s Day. But guess what? Fans got a nice surprise as Marco actually hit Sony Liv a day early. Here’s the scoop on Malayalam’s most intense action flick featuring Unni Mukundan.
Marco is available on Sony Liv
Marco, which hit theaters on December 20, 2024, just made its OTT debut on SonyLiv on February 13, 2025. It actually dropped on the platform a day earlier than expected, but hey, we’re not complaining! You can also catch this Malayalam action thriller on OTTplay Premium.

Marco can be streamed in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada on Sony Liv. Unfortunately, the Hindi version isn't available on the platform right now, and there's no news on when it might show up for streaming. If you’re not familiar with any of the South Indian languages, you’ll need to catch it with English subtitles.
This isn’t the first time Sony Liv has dropped a Malayalam film a day early. Joju George's Pani also had its premiere on the platform a day ahead back in January 2025.
Marco's storyline and characters
Unni Mukundan takes on the lead role of Marco, showcasing his most intense performance to date. This action-filled movie tracks Marco's journey as he seeks vengeance for the murder of his stepbrother.

The movie has taken the title for the most brutal action film in Malayalam, featuring relentless violence that doesn’t hold back, even against women and children.
The main character isn’t the only one causing chaos; the villains, played by Jagadish and Abhimanyu Thilakan, are depicted as ruthless and willing to go to any lengths to get what they want.

Siddique takes on the role of George, Marco’s adopted brother, in this action-packed thriller, alongside a cast that includes Kabir Duhan Singh, Anson Paul, Sreejith Ravi, Ishan Shoukath, Durva Thaker, Mathew Varghese, and Dinesh Prabhakar, among others.
