Unni Mukundan's Marco collects Rs 115 crore

Marco, which made a strong start, has earned Rs 115 crore during its month-long box office run. Producer Shareef Muhammed shared these figures for the Unni Mukundan-starrer, directed by Haneef Adeni.

The film also gained traction in other regions, including Delhi and Telugu-speaking areas, which contributed to its impressive earnings.

Produced by Shareef Muhammed under Cubes Entertainments, Marco continues to screen on over 450 screens worldwide. He also shared a poster on social media to celebrate the achievement.

It's worth noting that Marco continues its strong run in theatres into the New Year, despite the arrival of other Malayalam releases. Among the new films, Asif Ali's Rekhachithram has garnered the most attention, quickly becoming a hit with both critics and audiences. Directed by Jofin T Chacko, the thriller also stars Anaswara Rajan and Manoj K Jayan in prominent roles.

Unni Mukundan takes the lead in Marco, a character he first portrayed in the 2019 film Mikhael, which starred Nivin Pauly. Both Marco and Mikhael are directed by Haneef Adeni.

In the 2024 film, Marco embarks on a relentless rampage following the death of Victor, a visually impaired character. Jagadish and Abhimanyu Thilakan play the film's ruthless villains, while Siddique, Kabir Duhan Singh, and Anson Paul feature in key roles.
