Kudumbasthan's streaming partner has been announced! Starring Manikandan in the lead role, the film is poised for its theatrical debut this week. It will be released on Friday, January 24. In anticipation of the release, the team has confirmed ZEE5 as the streaming partner. Viewers will be able to watch Kudumbasthan on this platform following its time in theaters, provided they have an OTTplay Premium subscription.
The film is helmed by Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who also co-wrote the script and screenplay with actor Prasanna Balachandran, who features in the film. This project marks Rajeshwar's directorial debut, although he has previously contributed to skit sketches for the well-known YouTube channel Nakkalites, where he also penned the dialogues.

Kudumbasthan features a diverse cast led by Manikandan, alongside Saannve Megghana, Guru Somasundaram, director R Sundarajan, Prasanna Balachandran, Kanakamma from Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, Jenson Diwakar, and others. The narrative, as suggested by the title, centers on a married man grappling with various challenges while managing his responsibilities and pressures, all presented in a light-hearted manner.
