On its fifth day, which was its first Monday in theaters, Dominic and the Ladies' Purse earned merely Rs 0.50 crore. The film had previously garnered approximately Rs 1.8 crore on Sunday, but the Monday figures reflected a decrease, likely due to the weekday.

Notwithstanding the drop, the total global earnings for the Mammootty-GVM collaboration have reached Rs 14.5 crore, placing it third among Malayalam films released in 2025. Tovino Thomas' Identity currently occupies the second position with Rs 16.84 crore, according to Sacnilk. With only Basil Joseph’s Ponman and Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Oru Jaathi Jathakam scheduled for release later this week, there is potential for the Mammootty-starrer to surpass Tovino Thomas’ action thriller in the near future.

Dominic and the Ladies' Purse cast and plot

Mammootty stars as Dominic, a former police officer turned private detective. Gokul Suresh portrays his assistant, while the supporting cast includes Viji Venkatesh, Sushmitha Bhatt, Siddique, Vineeth, and Vijay Babu.

Identity is scheduled for release on ZEE5 on January 31, 2025. Additionally, viewers will have the option to stream the film on OTTplay Premium. This Malayalam action-thriller features a cast that includes Tovino Thomas, Trisha, Vinay Rai, and Shammi Thilakan. The film will make its OTT debut less than a month after its theatrical release on January 2, 2025.
