Recent reports suggest that Mammootty is poised to portray the lead role of Dominic, a seemingly indolent yet exceptionally talented private investigator, in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s upcoming film. Young actor Gokul Suresh will play the part of Dominic’s close confidant in this eagerly awaited project. Titled Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse, the film also features Lena, Viji Venkatesh, Vineeth, Siddique, Sushmitha Bhatt, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Wafa Khadeeja, among others, in supporting roles.

The screenplay for Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse is collaboratively written by Neeraj Rajan and Sooraj Rajan, alongside director Gautham Vasudev Menon. Notably, Darbuka Siva, a well-known Tamil musician, is set to make his debut in Malayalam cinema by composing the film's music and background score. The cinematography is directed by Vishnu Dev, while editing is managed by Anthony. This highly anticipated film is produced by Mammootty himself under his production company, Mammootty Kampany.
