Mammootty, the megastar of Malayalam cinema has a massive line-up of upcoming projects. The veteran actor is teaming up with yet another debutant director, Deeno Dennis, for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. The highly anticipated project, which has been titled Bazooka, also features popular actor-filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, in a pivotal role. According to the grapevine, Bazooka is now nearing the final stages of its production and is expected to have an Onam 2024 release.

Mammootty’s Bazooka to get Onam 2024 release?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Bazooka, which is touted to be a stylish action flick set in the backdrop of Kochi, is now nearing completion. The makers of the highly anticipated Mammootty starrer are reportedly keen to release the much-awaited project at the theatres globally, during the Onam season of 2024. In that case, the movie, which features popular actor-filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon in a pivotal role, might hit the big screens by the second week of September.

However, the release date of Bazooka will be finalized only after director Deeno Dennis and his team wrap up the post-production works of the film. The makers are also considering the possibility of having a solo release for the Mammootty starrer, before finalising the release date. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that the team is planning to drop a major update on the project, mostly an official poster or the first teaser, in a couple of weeks.

Along with Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon, the highly anticipated action thriller features a stellar star cast including Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan, Sunny Wayne, Gayathiri Iyer, Shine Tom Chacko, Sharaf U Dheen, Divya Pillai, Neeta Pillai, Iswarya Menon, and others in supporting roles. Midhun Mukundan has composed the songs and original score. Nimish Ravi and Roby Varghese Raj handle the cinematography of the film. The Deeno Dennis directorial is bankrolled by the popular banner, Yoodle Films.
