Following the release of Mohanlal's Empuraan in theatres this week, Mammootty's Bazooka stands out as another significant Malayalam film debuting this year. There have been indications that the Bazooka trailer would be shown alongside Empuraan in cinemas. In a recent announcement, the team has verified that the Bazooka trailer will be unveiled on the evening before the release of Empuraan, scheduled for March 27, 2025.

Bazooka trailer release date

The trailer for Bazooka, featuring Mammootty, is set to be released on March 26, 2025. An exclusive screening of the trailer will take place at Ragam Theatre in Thrissur at 8 PM on the same day. Additionally, the Bazooka trailer will be made available online on YouTube at 8:10 PM on Wednesday. Furthermore, it has been reported that the Bazooka trailer will also be included with Mohanlal's Empuraan when it premieres in theatres on Thursday.

Bazooka, under the direction of Deeno Dennis, is set to have its theatrical debut on April 10, 2025, two weeks following the release of Empuraan, featuring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

Bazooka cast

Bazooka features Mammootty alongside Gautham Vasudev Menon, who plays a crucial role as an IPS officer. The film also includes notable performances from Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Sharaf U Dheen, Jagadish, and Sidharth Bharathan. Additionally, the cast comprises Gayathiri Iyer, Divya Pillai, Iswarya Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Spadikam George, and Shammi Thilakan.

This action-driven film, described as a thrilling game, is penned by first-time director Deeno Dennis, the son of the renowned scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis.

Kaloor Dennis, known for writing acclaimed films like Gajakesariyogam, Mimics Parade, and Paithrukam, also crafted screenplays for movies featuring Mammootty in the 1980s.

L2 Empuraan release date

L2 Empuraan, the second installment of the Lucifer franchise, is set to premiere in theaters globally on March 27, featuring releases in Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. 

In addition to directing, Prithviraj Sukumaran will play a significant role in the film, which arrives six years after his directorial debut, Lucifer, released in 2019. Currently, you can stream Lucifer on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium.
