Mammootty has announced that his movie Bazooka, which was originally set to come out in February 2025, will now be released during the Vishu festival. The Malayalam superstar shared the updated release date with a cool new poster. This big-budget flick is directed by newcomer Deeno Dennis. 

Mammootty's Bazooka has a fresh release date now

The new Bazooka poster reveals that the movie is set to hit theaters around the globe on April 10, 2025.  

A couple of days ago, OTTplay reported that Bazooka will not be releasing in theatres on February 14, 2205, as the team had to complete the CGI work. Now, the megastar himself has confirmed this and announced the new date to be April 10, 2025.

Despite the postponement, fans would be excited that a Mammootty film would be released in Kerala on April 10, amid the festive celebrations.

Mammootty continues to be a style icon even after more than forty years in the industry, and he looks sharp as ever in the latest poster for Bazooka. The megastar is rocking a black suit and shades while leaning against a classic car. The backdrop features a factory vibe with smoke rising in the background.

The team has been releasing similar posters and a teaser for the film, offering fans a glimpse into the Bazooka universe and building up the excitement.

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who just made his mark in Malayalam cinema with his directorial debut, Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, is set to take on a significant role in the upcoming film Bazooka. It's pretty cool that his first Malayalam project starred Mammootty, and now they’ll be sharing the screen again in Bazooka.

Joining them are Sidharth Bharathan, Hakim Shahjahan, and Bhama Arun, along with Babu Antony, Divya Pillai, and Spadikam George, all playing important parts in the movie.

This film, which is being described as a game thriller, is directed by Deeno Dennis, the son of the well-known scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis.
