The untitled film, which is touted to be a crime drama, started rolling in Kochi, a few weeks back. As per the latest updates, the much-awaited project is now nearing the final stages of its filming. Mammootty-Gautham Vasudev Menon project’s first look to be out for Onam?
If the latest reports are to be believed, the megastar and celebrated filmmaker are planning to officially launch their ambitious project during the auspicious occasion of Onam 2024. As always, Mammootty Kampany, the production banner that bankrolls the untitled crime drama, refrained from officially announcing the title or any other details of the film during its filming stage, just like all their previous outings. The shooting of the project is expected to be wrapped up by the second week of September 2024.
However, the grapevine suggests that Malayalam cinema lovers can expect a major update on the highly anticipated project on the special occasion of ‘Attham Day’ (September 6, 2024). The official first look and title of the crime drama, on the other hand, has reportedly been slated to be revealed on the auspicious ‘Thiruvonam’ day (September 15, 2024). But, none of these reports are officially confirmed by the makers, yet.
Mammootty-Gautham Menon film: Here’s what we know
As reported earlier, the upcoming Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial, which is touted to be a different crime film, features Mammootty in the role of a private investigator. The megastar’s look in the untitled film was leaked on social media a few weeks back, and had gone viral. The reports suggest that the veteran actor’s character is entirely different from the previous police characters created by Gautham Menon, with a touch of humor, and a lazy approach.
