A brand new project is in the works, showcasing some of the fresh and rising stars from the South film industry. Actor and filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan, who is enjoying the success of his film Dragon and the hit Love Today, has officially announced this exciting venture, putting to rest recent rumors. He will be teaming up with the renowned production company Mythri Movie Makers to create a film featuring newcomer Keerthiswaran.

Pradeep Ranganathan is set to collaborate with Mamitha Baiju

Following his roles in movies like Love Today and Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan has revealed his next project, where he will take on the lead male role. In a previous interview, he mentioned that he plans to focus more on acting than directing for the time being. The announcement came out on Tuesday, and Pradeep will be collaborating with first-time director Keerthiswaran, who previously worked as an assistant to director Sudha Kongara. 

Mythri Movie Makers, known for producing Pushpa, will finance the upcoming film tentatively named PR 04. It stars Mamitha Baiju from Premalu as the female lead, with music by the talented Sai Abhyankkar. The first look is set to be revealed on Wednesday. Alongside Pradeep and Mamitha, the cast includes Hridhu Haroom, Sarathkumar, and more. Netflix has secured the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film.

Pradeep Ranganathan's new movie, Dragon, is now streaming on Netflix. Written and directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, it has become the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2025 so far. The cast includes Anupama Parameswaran, Kayadu Lohar, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Harshath Khan, VJ Siddhu, and more. Dragon is a commercial hit that received an incredible response upon its release.
