Shah Rukh Khan's film Main Hoon Na, which premiered in 2004, marked the directorial debut of Farah Khan. The movie achieved blockbuster status and continues to be a favourite among fans. Featuring performances by Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan, the narrative follows an army major who goes undercover as a college student to safeguard a general's daughter and reconnect with his half-brother. Now, nearly twenty years later, there are indications that Farah and Shah Rukh may collaborate once again for Main Hoon Na 2.

Details regarding Main Hoon Na 2

As reported by, Farah Khan is currently developing a script for Main Hoon Na 2 under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company owned by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan. A source associated with the project disclosed, “Farah has devised a concept for the sequel, and Shah Rukh is enthusiastic about the direction she intends to pursue. The screenplay is presently being crafted, with contributions from Farah’s writing team alongside the in-house writers at Red Chillies.”

A source indicated that Shah Rukh Khan is not inclined to pursue a sequel merely for nostalgic reasons. "He recognizes the iconic status of Main Hoon Na and has requested a compelling script that exceeds the original's impact," the source stated.

It is reported that the superstar will evaluate the initial draft by mid-2025 before making a definitive choice. Should the sequel come to fruition, it would represent the fourth partnership between Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, following their successful collaborations on Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year.

Shah Rukh Khan is set to make his debut in the OTT space with the directorial debut of his son, Aryan Khan, titled The Ba***ds Of Bollywood. This Netflix series follows the journey of an ambitious outsider and his companions as they navigate the extravagant yet unpredictable realm of Bollywood. It features a blend of self-aware humour and a high-stakes storyline.

The creative team behind the series shared insights about the project, stating, “Beneath the glitz of Bollywood exists a narrative as dramatic as the films themselves—and this is where The BA***DS of Bollywood unfolds. Through Aryan Khan’s unique perspective, the series explores the glamour, chaos, humour, and intense stakes of an industry founded on aspirations.”

In addition, Shah Rukh Khan is also working on a film titled King, which will feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, alongside Abhishek Bachchan.
