Maidaan box office collection day 4 - Filmmaker Amit Sharma's biopic, starring Ajay Devgn, opened to positive feedback from masses and critics alike. The sports drama, which is based on the life of former Indian football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, released in cinemas on April 11, 2024. The Ajay Devgn-starrer clashed with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. After a decent opening at the box office, Maidaan fell flat, only to gain momentum later. On day four at the box office, the film maintained a steady pace at the ticket window.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Ajay Devgn's Maidaan showed decent growth in its collection on day four at the box office. The film minted Rs 6.25 crore, slightly higher than the movie's day three collection. For those who are unaware, Maidaan had a full-fledged theatrical release on April 11, 2024. However, audiences could watch the film's paid previews from 6 pm on April 10.

And while Maidaan opened to positive responses, Akshay and Tiger's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan received an underwhelming response. BMCM didn't receive a thumbs up from the critics and masses alike.

Maidaan worldwide box office collection

After three days of its theatrical release, Maidaan minted Rs 23.10 crore (gross) at the global box office. That being said, the makers are yet to share the cumulative worldwide box office figures considering the day four collection.

Where to watch Maidaan on OTT?

Meanwhile, Maidaan's OTT partner has been revealed. Once the theatrical run of the Ajay Devgn-starrer ends, the film will drop on Amazon Prime Video. Until then, people can enjoy the film's theatrical experience. Apart from Ajay, the film's cast ncludes Priyamani, who essays the role of his on-screen wife. It has been backed by Zee Studios and Boney Kapoor.
