Vijay Sethupathi is out with his new film, Maharaja, which has also been released in Telugu on June 14, 2024. As multiple Telugu films stormed the release date of June 14, 2024, Maharaja did not get much attention. But as word of mouth spread, things have gone to the next level and the occupancy of the crime thriller has only increased in the last few days. Here's a detailed update on the three-day collections of Maharaja in Telugu states.

Maharaja Telugu collections in the first weekend

The Nithilan Saminathan film made a gross of one crore in Telugu states on day one. Occupancy grew on Saturday, and the film made Rs 2 crore on day two. As Vijay Sethupathi and his team visited the theaters and promoted the film in Hyderabad, the occupancy saw a striking rise, and Maharaja made Rs 3 crore on day three.

With this, the total collections of Maharaja in its first weekend is Rs 6 crore gross which is highly impressive. As the last week Telugu films failed to register at the box office, Maharaja has become the first choice of the A- center audience. They loved the screenplay and direction by Nithilan Saminathan in a big way and are recommending the film to others as well.

Maharaja shows increased in Telugu

Vijay Sethupathi plays the father of a teenage girl in this film, which has solid thrills, suspense, and emotions that leave the audience thrilled. The last twenty minutes of the film is one of the biggest highlights. The emotional twist revealed in the climax shocked everyone who watched the film.

In Tamil too, the collection of Maharaja is growing with each passing show. Netflix has grabbed the OTT rights to this film, which also has Anurag Kashyap in a negative role. Vijay Sethupathi has a massive fan following in Telugu states and that is also one of the reasons for the film to make waves in AP and Telangana. Watch this space for more updates.
