We had earlier reported that Malayalam actor Shane Nigam will be making his Tamil debut with the upcoming film titled Madraskaaran. The makers on Wednesday, released the teaser of the film, on social media.

Actor Shane Nigam who has appeared in notable Malayalam films like Bhootakalam, Kumbangi Nights, and RDX, is set to make his Tamil debut with the upcoming Tamil film titled Madraskaaran. The makers had recently revealed the first look of the film. Following this, the teaser of Madraskaaran was released on social media on Wednesday.

The film is written and directed by filmmaker Vaali Mohan Das and the shooting for the film has been wrapped up.

The teaser of Madraskaaran begins with a voiceover that hints about two people, one who is fueled by his caste pride, and other who is seeking revenge for his son’s death. We are also introduced to Kalaiyarasan and Shane Nigam as opposing forces, as we see them lock horns at several moments. The teaser is packed with action moments and plenty of emotional outburst with volatile characters. The musical score is intense, hinting that Madraskaaran will be packed with high emotions and action sequences.

Apart from Shane Nigam, the film also stars actors Kalaiyarasan, Niharika Konidela, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, Pandiarajan, and others. It is written and directed by Vaali Mohan Das.

Touted to be an emotional action drama, in Madraskaaran, Shane will be playing a character called Sathyamoorty from Pudukottai. The Malayalam actor will be playing a Tamilian in the film and said that cracking the language and performance was one of the hardest challenges for him.

It is to be noted that Madraskaaran will be Niharika Konidela's second Tamil project after Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren. With Prasanna cranking the camera, the upcoming film has music scored by Sam CS. It is produced by B Jagadish of SR Productions.
