Madraskaaran is a Tamil emotional drama starring Shane Nigam as the main character. It premiered in theaters on January 10, and it’s set to stream soon after its run. Aha Tamil has secured the streaming rights, and the film will be available on their platform starting February 7. If you have an OTTplay Premium subscription, you can catch the film there.

Madraskaaran is directed by Vaali Mohan Das and features a cast that includes Kalaiyarasan, Aishwarya Dutta, Karunas, Geetha Kailasam, Niharika Konidela, and more. The story follows a guy who goes back to his hometown in Pudukottai to marry the love of his life. But on his wedding day, one unexpected event turns his whole life upside down.

Madraskaaran thoughts and conclusion

Madraskaaran hit the screens to a mix of opinions. While the performances were solid, the storytelling didn’t quite hit the mark. According to OTTplay's review, “Despite some emotional moments that give Shane Nigam a chance to shine, the jumbled screenplay fails to draw you in, making Madraskaaran a disappointment and a missed chance.”

The film features cinematography by Prasanna S Kumar and music by Sam CS, with editing done by R Vasanthakumar. Ananth Mani took care of the art direction. B Jagadish produced Madraskaaran under the SR Productions banner.
