Sooraj R. Barjatya recently dropped by Indian Idol to hype up his upcoming digital debut, Bada Naam Karenge, which is set to premiere on February 7. During a special episode celebrating the biggest hits from Rajshri Productions, he captivated the audience with a fascinating behind-the-scenes story from Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! He shared how Madhuri Dixit played a key role in making Salman Khan's legendary nighty scene in Didi Tera Devar Deewana a reality.
Madhuri Dixit’s part in that nighty scene with Salman Khan in Didi Tera Devar Deewana
Ritika really wowed the crowd with her performance of the song, which got Barjatya thinking about the good old days. It took them 16 days of practice and nine days of shooting to nail down this intricate song. They wanted to wrap it all up with a big celebration. When Barjatya mentioned that Salman should wear just a nightgown for the final scene, his dad was taken aback and thought it was a bad idea, but Salman was totally on board right away. The crew was buzzing with excitement, so they decided to let the ladies have a say. Madhuri and the other dancers loved the idea and were all for it. Plus, Madhuri even did Salman's makeup herself for the scene. Barjatya feels super thankful for being able to relive these amazing moments.
Didi Tera Devar Deewana, which is already super charming, gets an extra dose of appeal with its funny storyline. Barjatya's knack for crafting unforgettable scenes shines through as he dives into the OTT world with Bada Naam Karenge, a love story that explores Gen-Z's journey of reconnecting with their roots.
